Marcin Wielewski Top 10 of 2016! It's not easy to catch floating guitar, but when the music blows with heaviness you'll find the way. What I like the most is southern sound of these heavy blues. Favorite track: Tomb Roads.

Cave People 05:32
CAVE PEOPLE There's no air down here But up top, well it's so small Kinda crowded and all Billions of souls believe in the goal and cry more But what the fuck do they want for? Just stop pretending you ain't stranded here and dying I, I know I know you can't leave it alone And all you half ass talking heads You say it's worse than its ever been It's the same, you just reframed it What do they pay you for talking that shit? And I'm nobody's one I'm not here for your idea of fun Well you can find me at the bottom where All the honest people follow, god damn ya I, I know I know you can't leave it alone And you think, well maybe there was a time When it was or will be better But I sense this is what we've all been a part of Self righteous, pseudo divine love Hey man I heard your speech, and I know you ain't in control But ya sold it like they always want it sold Fuck it, just get what you want No revelation, this is how its always been done If you find that you crave for blood Drain it from the weakest one If you feel you are broken Know that you must never show it If you're searching for answers Words will never grant them
2.
Tomb Roads 05:41
TOMB ROADS Deep under stone, I saw a man put low by his own empire Proud of himself, and his song cries "I must go higher" All of his life, he knew to win, well everyone else must lose Desire she craves, and it's fate, no matter the vice you choose Got what you wanted but still have no answers Searching out there for yourself or whatever Well you gotta know, hey you're wasting your time Before it was treasure, it lived in the soil At summer's end, I shook my head and honey, you went your way Well you always said you know what you're worth, and that life would pay The words from your mouth kinda sound like they owe you everything I say you're shallow as hell, but god damn, ya sure got a lovely face Got what you wanted but still have no answers Searching out there for yourself or whatever Well you gotta know, hey you're wasting your time Before it was treasure, it lived in the soil Well maybe I've been too cruel And ya know, well I played that fool Hey, ya wanna eat, you gotta break some legs Cause you always learn, you learn in the hardest way Got what you wanted but still have no answers Searching out there for yourself or whatever Well you gotta know, hey you're wasting your time Before it was treasure, it lived in the soil
3.
DRINK MY THIRSTY DEVILS Drag a boulder uphill with a Rope that's tied to my heels Counting all the wolves along the way Tired eyes, desert dry Cracked hands clutch at sky Gotta make it up before the rain Though your fist can't mend or soothe Smash it against my wound Take my poison every night And drift away Slim hand with jagged knife Thin slice of hollow life And every drop was savored by the blade The bellows ache inside my chest With venom I cannot resist And haunted visions of a missing face The shadow's grip, the phantom strong I drink my thirsty devils gone Just can't ever put em in the grave Though your fist can't mend or soothe Smash it against my wound Take my poison every night And drift away
4.
End Run 03:29
END RUN This road is a part of me And it knows my name I see what its done to me You and I ain't the same Every streetlight that slow passes over With them dark spaces looming much longer Broken lines that divine where it's safe Squint your eyes, you can't make em straight Take my stride in some viper hide boots Test my grip on these fibrous roots Grind my teeth on the bones in my dreams Ain't no rest in the house of thieves This road is a part of me And it knows my name I see what its done to me You and I ain't the same Dim light, searching for threats in this meek light Past life shows that the world was all trauma See her saunter inside with that sweet eye Mama, I've never been such a goner And the move that she makes, like a quake with no fault Like she's made for a fall And I'm caught between this bliss and a hard night She won't understand at all This road is a part of me And it knows my name I see what its done to me You and I ain't the same I'd search for my soul But there's nobody home I'm a thousand miles away

WILFY BRIMSTONE Cold pull on the teeth till it hurts Back stiff, eyes drift right to her But I don't ever mean anything by it Sitting here in my chair, guess I'll hide in my beer Big ole mouth on some ugly cuss Try you out, boy I show how it's done And I take all the blame When you ain't breaking my back Wanna bust me some other way Down the street by the old iron line See you walking away all the time You said you never meant anything by it Sitting here in my chair, got no price on my head Best to go if ya never wanna stay I was you, guess I'd feel all the same And I take all the blame When you ain't breaking my back Wanna bust me some other way Guess I'll take all the blame When you ain't breaking my back Wanna fuck me some other way Swear to christ no one looks me in the eye Out or in, see you straddling that line Got my strength, but not a lot of hope All my sense left me so long ago I swear I really can't start again Dug a hole, guess it's twenty miles deep On my shoulders, the varmints, they weep But they don't ever mean anything by it Sitting here in my chair, guess I'm dying down here Couldn't think of a better way to go Wasn't anybody you'd wanna know And I take all the blame When you ain't breaking my back Wanna bust me some other way Guess I'll take all the blame When you ain't breaking my back Wanna fuck me some other way

AS I LEAVE YOU Please forgive my self indulgence When I ask you ladies and gentlemen to consider In your own private way how best to Fuck yourself Sometimes I jest Every now and then I get a taste of true remorse And I remember how others suffer so much more Nah forget it man, here's our song When I was a boy, I felt paranoid Everybody always wanna fuck with me And as a young lad, never knew where to stand Right or left, you all sound like the man When I came of age and got myself laid All my problems never seemed to go away Now that I'm grown and left on my own Ain't nobody really caring where I'm from It's a waste of time, I say Oh and by the way Fuck your opinion I don't want inside your game How do I quantify for you non believers How the church of non Jesus Came to a non thesis From a non religion For a non people, non grieving I ask myself why I'm just now leaving Spent time under earth Fifteen years or more I kept it all to myself But I've got one thing left These words I give you: Stay with the moment or die to what matters

about

Brother Ox Shady Grove, Pennsylvania

Brother Ox was a band with an idea behind it. Labor, societal pressure, anguish of the common man: listen to the first album, you hear these themes. This was a good thing.

But it was also an excuse to hide.

Volume 2 is full of characters you know in your personal experience, and some you haven't met yet. It's the same for us. Is it rock or something worse? Are we traitors? To what cause? None.
